This webpage has some of my personal favourites from my artistic and curatorial portfolio. I include my reason for each one. These five projects capture a snapshot of my choreographic, curatorial, and cinematic practice, always guided by the aim of ensuring everyone has a good time. Solarpunk (2026) is a career highlight encapsulating how dance can collide with sculpture. I created an at-home version that many bodies can do seated in a chair. A transcript is Dancehouse’s website. It summarises how I want to work as a curator, working in layers. I envision for APA, I can create theatrical text responses to the collection and have these objects audio-described as well. This work was the outcome after a year of research as the 2024 Arts & Heritage City of Melbourne Collection Resdient.

Caca-Capitalismo (2020) is my multilingual audio-described film. It has been presented in Romania, USA, Australia and Aotearoa and was funded by Creative Australia. The work received critical acclaim from Witness Performance’s Olivia Muscat. This was made in partnership with Description Victoria and summarises my skill and passion for aesthetic access. “I delight in things with an unbridled sense of fun, especially those with a satirical element. So despite my not wanting to engage with anything related to the pandemic that isn’t absolutely necessary, I completely enjoyed Caca-Capitalismo. The fact that it’s a shining example of accessible, audio-described online performance plays a huge role in achieving that.”

Lunar New Year Disco (2020) showcases my passion for innovation for street dance events. With a curatorial commission from the Melbourne Museum, in partnership with Midsumma Festival, and funding from the City of Melbourne, I brought my community, Burn City Waack, to the Nocturnal program, presenting our Queer dance form to over 1,250 people. The event included inclusive workshops in Punking, Lip-syncing and Waacking in tandem with an evening takeover of the Melbourne Museum.

Anticipation is Half of the Seduction (2018) was a career highlight, featuring textile, glass, performance, light, and photography. Mentored by Hannah Matthews (PICA Director, Perth), this exhibition looked at the anticipation before two bodies or objects collide. This was designed before my AuDHD affirmation, and I can see how my passion for multisensory entry points began to emerge in my practice.

Mx.Red (2018) demonstrates my ability to work with artists and technicians across New South Wales and Japan to create a 14-piece mixed-reality installation, including augmented reality, animation, and virtual reality.
